Blood Wings

i had to draw this, it wasnt the best story* because i just knew it. like i WAS the kid, it was scary because i could FEEL his Fear like i was him and i was there.

Sitting upon my couch i could almost see the city below me, so far out of reach and more beautifull than i had ever seen it before. i was trying to get attention so i could escape the tormentingly drawn out doom, but nobody noticed me. I could FEEL all of it, so i drew that picture, and it looked nice so i coloured it in.

This is the story of a boy who found he had grown wings, excited by his wings (confused and outcast by them as well) he decided to take a flight around his aria to see how things looked from above, (and because flying sounded fun).

so he took his wings for a test fly, much to his surprise he found his world looked wonderful from such a height, the blurred tree's in parks contrasted with the graffiti covered train lines, in an unexpected harmonic kind of chaos.

his wings were his and as such got quite tired, so he decided to stop and rest upon a ledge built purely for design along the top of a tall building. As he rested and admired his unique view a jet flew only a meter or so above the building putting such pressure on his fragile new wings that they collapsed, bleeding their imprint upon the wall.

he looked down with a new fear. he had no safe way down, from such a height he could not live there, he tried and tried to get someones attention, but no one looked up, he was tired, and the city was staring at their feet, he was trapped, with the most beautiful view.

Alone and stuck on a thin little ledge with no way down and his blood wings dripping behind him.
